By using TextTidyTools, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
What we provide
TextTidyTools offers free, browser-based text utilities. The tools are provided as they are, without a service commitment. We do not guarantee that the site will be available at any particular time, that a specific tool will remain on the site, or that a tool's behavior will stay identical between versions.
No warranty of accuracy
The tools are built and tested carefully, but text analysis involves judgment calls — what counts as a word, where a sentence ends, how fast someone reads. Results are provided for information only. You are responsible for verifying any figure before relying on it for something that matters, such as an assignment, a submission with a hard word limit, or a published document.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the text you process and for having the right to process it. Because everything runs in your browser, you retain complete control of your content — and complete responsibility for it.
Acceptable use
Do not use this site to break the law, infringe someone else's rights, or attack the service. Specifically, do not:
- Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or its hosting.
- Scrape or republish the site's content as your own.
- Reverse the placement of advertising, or present the tools as your own product.
- Use the tools to produce material that is unlawful in your jurisdiction.
Intellectual property
The site's design, written explanations and source code belong to TextTidyTools and its authors. The text you enter into a tool remains entirely yours — we never receive it, so we claim nothing over it. Output that a generator produces (placeholder text, random strings) is yours to use freely.
Third-party links and services
Pages may link to external sites and may display third-party advertising. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their content, their products or their privacy practices.
Changes to the service
Tools may be added, changed or removed, and these terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page shows the last revision. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, TextTidyTools is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, including lost work, lost profits or a missed deadline. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
